I wasn't given a lot of advice on how to improve the last pitch but I did review other pitches and took some ideas from them that I liked. I tried to be more professional and less emotional in my pitch this time. Someone suggested that I use a bag as a prop but I decided against it.
Hi Robert,
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great solution to the trash problems you have witnessed around your apartment complex. However, I do believe there are areas to improve your opportunity! First, how do you plan to monitor the odor if the trash bag leaks into your Trash Port Pro. Storing the Trash Port Pro in the car will also lead to a stale trash odor. Secondly, how do you plan to fasten this onto the car so that it is not an obstruction to driving laws. Here's the link to my second elevator pitch if you'd like to check it out:

Hi Robert,
ReplyDeleteYour solution seems great, and you sounded very professional. Just a quick suggestion, it would have helped the viewer understand your solution better if you would have written a summary on your product, that way the viewer is not thinking trying to envision the product, instead, they can be persuaded to invest in your product.

Hi there Robert
ReplyDeleteI think you have a great idea going there. I know I for one get really annoyed transporting my trash to the dumpster, especially if it's too much to carry in one trip or the trash is really heavy. I think you did a great job delivering your pitch. Your voice inflections and hand movements made it easy to keep me attentively watching the pitch. Overall great job! Hi Robert! I really like your idea and can relate especially after no longer having the convenience of a trash chute like I had in my dorm freshman year. I like how you delivered your pitch; you were passionate and very easy and interesting to listen to. I do agree with the first commenter and would be interested in hearing about remedies for those potential issues.
